Sharing Christmas 2025
This Christmas over 3,500 children will have presents under their Christmas tree because of YOUR generosity!!
During Sharing Christmas 2024 we had to make 10-15 trips to Target, Wal-Mart, & Lewis just to make sure our store was stocked throughout the week. By the last day, there was little, to nothing, remaining. I have joked that all we had left the final day was 2 twigs and a pinecone. Despite the scarcity of gifts by the end of the week, 1,164 children benefited from the Sharing Christmas Store.
What a difference a year makes!
While 2024 was a year of scarcity in the store…the generosity of this great community made 2025 a Sharing Christmas year of generous abundance!
It was such a blessing to know that the families that came on the last day of the Store had the same shopping experience & selection as those who came on day #1 (minus the Black Friday-esque waiting in line!).
There was such an abundance of gifts in the store that we were able to send out email invitations to all the families that applied to shop, but were initially denied. In all, over 550 families were invited to shop for gifts (at incredibly discounted rates) to provide some joy this Christmas. On top of that, there were enough gifts remaining that 20 other organizations that serve working families in crisis and families in poverty (including elementary schools, family shelters, non-profits, daycares, mental health facilities…both public and faith-based) came and collected items to serve the families they are walking alongside this Christmas.
In all, approximately 3,549 children will receive the joy that this community rallied to provide through your generosity for the Sharing Christmas Store 2025! The Community Outreach and the Center of Hope cannot do any of the work we do without the incredible partnership of all the people, churches, and businesses that see the needs of this community and step into the need to provide hope!
